Sara Cormier currently holds the position of Acting Program Manager within the Office of Undergraduate Research. Additionally, she serves as a Sessional Instructor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy where she teaches Physics 1A03. Sara has always been deeply passionate about teaching, learning, and providing support to students across all academic levels. As a graduate student she researched soft matter physics. Her primary research focus now is on pedagogy – looking at how students learn, and specifically how to make learning accessible and rewarding for all students. She is enthusiastic about promoting equitable access to research opportunities for all undergraduates within the Faculty of Science.
