The OUR is organizing a boot-camp to assist students with applying to summer research positions off campus during the week March 11-15 to mark Work Integrated Learning (WIL) month. Support will include assistance with Resume support; Cover letters; Emails; and Written statements in collaboration with the Student Success Centre. These positions are in the areas of Healthcare and Environmental Science, located in Toronto and Hamilton at the following institutions.


    

  1. Sickkids Hospital, Toronto- due dates March 30th

  2. Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto-due dates March 29th
    3. 

  3. Geriatric Education and Research in Aging Sciences (GERAS) Centre, Hamilton
    4. 

  4. Population and Health Research Institute (PHRI), Hamilton
    5. 

  5. Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis Research Institute (TAARI), Hamilton
    6. 

  6. Environment Hamilton, Hamilton
    7. 

  7. Friends of the Earth, Hamilton

We invite students who will have completed Level 2 and Level 3 (by April 2024) with a cGPA of 10.5 and above to apply by 5pm on March 7th to participate in the boot-camp.


Dates: March 11-15; Time: 1-4:30pm Location: TBD


Students will have the opportunity to meet 1-1 for one hour the week of March 11th. We will strive to have a flexible schedule to accommodate class timings as much as possible.
